The crime scene detail entered the room. There was blood splattered on the wall opposite the victim, a female in her late 20's. She had been hung from a hook in the ceiling in the middle of a bedroom. A chair lay on it's side to the left of the body. The woman's neck had been cut with a very sharp object, maybe a razor blade or a box cutter. The blood apparently gashed in spurts onto the opposite wall leaving dark red streaks running down to the floor. She had been bound tightly with duct tape at the elbows, wrists, knees and ankles. A strip of duct tape had been placed over her mouth. Her neck was in a noose made of hemp but the base of her throat had ligature marks on it, suggesting she had something tied tightly there before her hanging. Her face was ashen with dark bruises under her eyes and left cheek. The team took photos of the woman from different angles. A tape measure was placed along side of her stretched out throat as the photographer snapped away.............

After taking the photos of the hanging woman two officers processed to take her down off the hook in the ceiling. One of the officers steadied her by holding her legs as the other reached up with a pair of rope cutters. The rope snapped and her body fell a few inches as they let her down gently onto a plastic tarp on the floor. They kept the noose around her neck, her arms and legs stayed bound and also the tape was left over her mouth for the coroner to remove during autopsy. Her nude corpse was then placed in a body bag for transport.
